Kings County Farm Bureau President Bob Wilson stresses the need for new water storage and conveyance.

Editor,
President Bob Wilson is correct in his July Message when he emphasizes the importance of new water storage leading to a reliable water supply for all Californians. People who live in the large metropolitan areas need to understand the importance of new reservoirs and a conveyance system necessary to move water around our state. They further need to understand the connection of maintaining a flow of water to our farms and the food they eat every day and the clothes they wear.

Kings County Farm Bureau has partnered with the California Farm Water Coalition through its current membership to keep the farm water message in front of the people. Thanks for that assistance and with more individuals like Bob Wilson sounding the importance of farm water, policymakers may finally get the message.
